Presidency of WNE

Sylvie Bermann, Ambassador of France, President of WNE

She was successively Ambassador to China (2011-2014), the United Kingdom (2014-2017) and Russia (2017-2019). She was previously Director of the United Nations and International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

She was also posted in Brussels as Ambassador, Permanent Representative to the Political and Security Committee (PSC) of the European Union and in New York as Counsellor at the French Mission to the United Nations.

She is the author of "La Chine en eaux profondes" (2017) and "Goodbye Britannia" (2021), published by Editions Stock.
