  • WiN Global’s mission is to increase awareness and provide positive information aimed especially towards women and the younger generation, on nuclear energy and its applications and on nuclear science and technology. WiN Global holds an annual conference and confers a WiN Award to an exceptional female nuclear specialist.

  • Innovatome

  • The « Innovatome » contest was launched in 2016 by the French Nuclear Society Young Generation Network. The awards were given by Jean-Bernard Levy, chairman of EDF in person during a dedicated ceremony in WNE. 

    Innovatome contest aims at promoting innovation culture among students and attracting them in the nuclear industry. Between March and June 2016, teams of French-speaking students coming from various backgrounds have participated to three innovation workshops related to “Digital technologies”, “Ecological Transition” and “Health, Security and Welfare”. At the end of each workshop, the students gathered in teams presented their innovation idea to a jury of experts.

    Contest winners had been announced on Thursday 30th June 2016.

  • Spark! Contest

  • The Spark! Contest is a side award of WNE and invites students and young professionals aged 28 years old and under to produce innovative thinking on a topic related to Energy. It is a two-round Contest overseen by Energy industries, and sponsored by Jean-Bernard LEVY, CEO of EDF. Open to young professionals coming from all over the world and who have studied in French or British universities, the Spark!

    Contest winners had been announced on Thursday 30th June 2016.

  • Fem'energia

  • Since 2009, EDF, WiN (Women in Nuclear) France and WiN Europe have been working closely together to organise a special award, the "Fem'Energia Award", which aims to recognize the exceptional contribution made by female students and professional women to nuclear activities in France and Europe.
